Field Trip

Dear Parents,

I hope everyone had a great time at the fall carnival! Below is the information about the European Brochure project. Click the following links for a blank copy of the brochure. Be sure to click on each word for both sides. Blank Brochure

Due: October 27th
  • Your child has already chosen a country. National Geographic Kids, Ducksters, or even National Geographic are good websites to use for this project. The students should be able to navigate National Geographic Kids on their own. I will be using these brochures as a resource in the class library. Your child should be doing their best work.
  • Along with the brochure your child also needs to bring some type of artifact/object that represents their county. They are also more than welcome to bring a food to share with the class that represents that country.
  • Please make sure your child is filling out the blank lines on the front of the brochure. They need to write one sentence about the country or a phrase, maybe even the countries motto if they have one.
  • I will be grading on the following
    • quality (written neatly, pictures drawn and colored in nicely) The pictures may also be printed. In that case they should be cut out and pasted correctly.
    • spelling and punctuation
    • object that is brought
    • is this the student’s work
    • are all parts completed
