Quick Notes

  • Kindness Bingo
    • Due: Tuesday, March 3rd
    • This is extra homework. It is not required, but I would like your child to participate. Students who return it will get something special..
  • Friendly Letters
    • Your child is bringing home a graded friendly letter. I strongly suggest sending those. If the letter is to someone in the class room, you may return it in an envelope and I will pass them out.
  • Does anyone have a couple of old rags (washcloth size) they would like to donate? They would be used to wipe off our math and reading/language arts center boards.

Weekly Update

Dear Parents,

Read your child's planner every night. They might have extra homework they need to complete or even bonus assignment.

Here are a few pictures from our 100th Day activities.

  • Valentine's Day Party (February 13th)
    • Valentine's Day Party Sign-Up (Even though slots for volunteers are taken, please know that you are all welcome to join and spend time with your child during the party!)
    • Wear RED or PINK
    • On this day, we will also be exchanging Valentine's cards or small treats. Parents are welcome to send their child with these cards or small treats on Friday (02/13), but please make sure you have enough for everyone! There are 13 students in our class. So the passing out of goodies runs smoothly, please make sure cards are filled out before your child gets to class. You do not need to send a box to put these in, because we will be making a treat bag in class.
  • Random Acts of Kindness
    • This week is Random Acts of Kindness Week. (https://randomactsofkindness.org/)
    • Please take the time and look over the website with your child. See if there is an act of kindness y'all can do together.
    • Be share to read their planner. They will have random acts they need to complete throughout the week.
    • Tonight's homework is they need to give a compliment to 3 people whom are not in our class. They need to write down who it was and what was said.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
