- Congratulations to our Classroom Spelling Bee Representatives - Wyatt, Milan, and Eric! They will continue onto the Finals which will be on Thursday, February 26th.
- State Report - Due: Monday, March 2
- Your child should be able to do most of the report on their own. I suggest using ducksters.com
- Your child should be the one filling everything out in their very best handwriting. They should also have complete sentences.
- Pictures do not have to be drawn, they can be printed out. If drawn, need to be colored.
- Math Worksheets - Money (The test is Monday the 23rd.)
- Don't forget to Review, Sign, and Return Progress Reports by Wednesday, February 25th.
- Thursday - February 26th - Wear your Spirit Shirts!
- Friday - February 27th - Go Texan Day! Wear your best rodeo outfit! We will be making a special snack of chili.
- Houston Zoo Field Trip (April 17th)
- The elementary classes will be having field-trip in April to the Houston Zoo. The cost of the field trip is $17 and this includes both admission to the zoo and a 45-minute class. Due to the classroom size and safety regulations, only students and teachers will be allowed to participate in the 45-minute class. However, parents are more than welcome to join in all other zoo activities. Please note that parents will need to purchase tickets separately.
