Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Last week was a busy week in 2nd grade. We started our kindness project and will continue to keep working on being kind children. Expect some extra homework to come home to keep the kindness going!
- Monday (2/16) - Non-Academic
- Friday (2/20) - Progress Reports - In class Spelling Bee - Discovery Dome
- Social Studies - We will have a short quiz over our government unit. Your child should have brought their spiral home to look over, also the Studies Weekly. Ask them to sing their government song to remember the branches.
- Houston Zoo Field Trip (April 17th)
- The elementary classes will be having field-trip in April to the Houston Zoo. The cost of the field trip is $17 and this includes both admission to the zoo and a 45-minute class. Due to the classroom size and safety regulations, only students and teachers will be allowed to participate in the 45-minute class. However, parents are more than welcome to join in all other zoo activities. Please note that parents will need to purchase tickets separately.
